Gina and I waited for Eddie on the bench in front of our apartment building. We would first go to lunch, then Eddie was going to take me to the RiversEdge Saloon so I could get my car; I'd left it there the night before when I was too intoxicated to drive.
We made small talk; I was glad she didn't say a word about our sexy drive home the previous evening, and, thankfully, she didn't ask what Eddie and I had done when we were alone in my apartment.
